  • Andrew Francis

    Andrew is an academic and practicing psychologist (and medical herbalist) with more than 25 years of experience in the field.

    Andrew is an academic and practicing psychologist (and medical herbalist) with more than 25 years of experience in the field. He is Associate Professor in Psychology at RMIT University, in the School of Health Sciences.

    His approach to psychology is integrative and holistic, with teaching and research interests primarily in the sub-disciplines of Behavioural Neuroscience and Psychopathology. Specific interests and current projects include drug use behaviour, mental health and wellness, sleep and shift-work, complementary-alternative medicine, nature experience and wellness, spirituality, resilience and health.

  • Dr. Shane Hulbert

    Shane is an artist and academic from RMIT University where he is the Deputy Head, Discipline (Art), in the School of Art. His work has been shown in galleries throughout the world, most recently in the National Gallery of Victoria, for their iconic Melbourne Now exhibition.

    His photography explores the expression of a collective national identity through distinct and now-popular iconography that illustrates his fascination with the connections between place, history and culture.  His teaching is predicated on the notion that photography is a technologically determined medium, with a unique language that is crucial to the understanding and experience of photography as an art practice.

    Work Experience – ran a family business, raised venture capital in Australia and the USA, marketing manager of a TV network, manager at PwC, political advisor and strategist, film writer/producer, developed e-commerce application in the textile space, currently developing a technology to help locate lost first responders in hostile environments.

    Community experience- key strategist and mentor for over 6 years, focusing on runs undertaken by the Melbourne Fire Department across Europe (the great ANZAC run) and the USA (Tour of Duty run). Youth leader for 8 years.
